Squeaking in with this week’s update.

We’re half way. HALF WAY. Weird. Admittedly, the first two months passed without being observed, but still. Half. Way.

Apparently the alien is around 10″ top to toe. That’s… really big for something that’s incubating inside me. It’s like 26cm, or almost an entire 30cm ruler! What the deuce.

Anyway, barring random occurences of random stuff, nothing major on the horizon spawn-wise. We go back to the midwife in a month, then at 28 weeks there’s the diabetes testing. Other than that I just have to remember to drink enough water (never have, never will), try to get some exercise (ex…ercise…?) and not fall down any stairs or start any bar fights (probably doable).

HA! Just when you thought we’d get through the week with nothing exciting to report. This week: colostrum. I won’t go into any further detail, but I am sure Marie & Jess will appreciate the irony given recent conversations.  You can figure the rest out for yourselves because I don’t want to get all detaily right now.
