Other people due around the same time I am have started sharing pictures of their beautifully appointed and very organised nurseries.

Note the books, and CDs, and ironing board and balloons. And Sam, on Sam’s computer. To be fair, we are storing some actual baby stuff in here – the chest of drawers actually has clothes in it, the storage container has bedding, and if you peek you can just see some baby-themed wall decals.

Oh, and then there’s the wardrobe.

It’s not all bad though; there is a bed set up in our room.

And when I say ‘set up’ I obviously mean ‘still storing baby shower pressies’.

I think we’re possibly experiencing a touch of second-child syndrome. You know, on top of the SPD and the chronic fatigue and negative iron levels and all that good stuff that leads to an extreme case of CBA.

I feel a little better that ‘my’ mums from Amelie’s due date group were similarly afflicted when their #2s came along… >.>
